My hubby had wanted a hot tub, and when I asked my girls CF dr. about it, he said 'Tell Rick to save up for a pool instead.' So, finally, last year, we put in a pool with a saltwater system. It is GREAT exercise for the girls and their dr. was thrilled to hear about how much they swam around in it. Kayla would get out and start coughing and cough up tons mucus from all the exercise she was getting! I hate that she was coughing so badly, but happy she was getting it out<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
The only thing the girls dr. had said was that he wishes they could swim all year long-but we live outside St. Louis and we do have to close up the pool<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> Their dr. suggested taking them to the YMCA or something for the winter to get in more swimming.
