Bad experience with Oregano Oil

Thanks for this posting.

I have not inhaled oil of oregano and I will be sure not to in the future.

Please don't rule out the oral way though. I have not been on any antibiotics (other than my usual maintenance Bactrim) for 2 years because of the oil of oregano. Three times now, I have gotten rid of sinus infections just by doing the sublingual drops several times a day.

I believe that oregano is wonderful stuff, if used in a safe way.

He (SD) also mentions to use the water soluble version H2 Orega and not the regular or the extra strength oil type one. He did use the regular one in the beginning tho before they came out with the water soluble one. I have used (nebbed) the water soluble one a few times off and one with some good results so I personally won't bash/negate that it could be useful but definitely don't neb the oil type!

I never tried inhaling OO, but I did try the pills and drops under my tongue.

Within a day I had terrible flu-like symptoms (fever, aches, chills). I felt awful and stopped taking the OO after a couple days. I don't know if I was allergic or just what, but I'll never try it again.
