From my understanding BCMH will only cover services related to the handicap, so u would need to keep medicaid for vists to gyno and other specalist non-cf related

I would think that you should keep Medicare - I don't know for certain, but dropping it may affect your disability determination, which you wouldn't want to happen. But Medicare covers a pretty limited range of services, so if you were able to get BCMH for all your CF related needs, that would probably be a big help.

Thank you for your responses. I talked to my hospital yesterday and asked her to check on my status with BCMH. Usually my husbands income bumps me out of the possibility of getting extra coverage but I'm not sure that BCMH goes on that. Let's hope.

So it looks like I will keep the Medicare just in case. At least if I have BCMH it will cover more than what I'm getting covered now. I just feel like I need someone who knows a lot more than me (case worker) to help me. I think I'll call my insurance (thru hubby) and see if they offere a free service for that.

Thanks for all of your help, I appreciate it!!
