Hey all,
It's Debbie, I've been MIA for a while b/c alot has been going on! My left lung collapsed TWICE this summer! Totally out of the blue. It was very scary the first time. I was out by the pool with a friend and suddenly I couldn't get enough air in..at all. We we to the ER (in my bikini) an they placed a chest tube. I was there for about a week and went home. It happened again 7 days later. This time I was transfered to Denver where my CF docs are. I was scheduled to have a pleuro diesis procedure and was supposed to go home in about a week. I ended up spending 31 days there! I don't have time to get into every thing that happened, but I'll be back b/c I feel that what I went through really shouldn't happen to anyone else if it can be helped.

Im sorry to hear you went thru such a bad time Debbie<img src="i/expressions/rose.gif" border="0">. I hope you are feeling and doing better now. Do you have any idea what caused the collapsed lung?

I'm sorry to hear that. My brother just had 3 lung collapses in the past several months. Only twice he needed a chest tube but what an ordeal that was. I have never had that happen before. It must be so scary and just feel awful. I hope you are feeling better now!
