I think we've decided to go ahead and try this one. Heather, I was told the same thing, unless it's a warm mist humidifier, or one that can sanitize itself. I'm considering this one because of the sanitizing solution that can be added. Harriett, you have some very valid concerns, and they are very similar to mine. Thank you so much for your input; and I figure I can add cleaning the fan blades to my evening routine of cleaning nebs, bottles, baby toys, etc. It's only $50, so if it doesn't work out, and I start noticing anything that can/could breed bacteria; or if this becomes too much of a hassle to use, then we aren't out much, and I'll just auction the thing off on Ebay lol. I just can't find enough evidence that's for OR against this version. I guess it'll be an experiment. For now, once we get it, I'll just keep it in the room that sits off of our main bedroom, and maybe that way, if it does begin to grow bacteria before I notice it...maybe the risk of it effecting Paige will be reduced. Does that make sense? Does anyone think it's too much of a risk? I just really haven't found enough information to convince me one way or the other.
