Benecalorie

We're kind of new to the CF world and I am always worried about my daughter getting enough calories. While searching around on the internet I came across something called Benecalorie. It looks like its made by Nestle. Anyway its liquid and comes in 1.5 oz packs and has 330 calories and 7 g of protein per pack! Does anyone know anything about whether or not its safe for CFers or children in general? It would be great if I could sneak an extra 330 cal into Lacy's diet without her eating anything extra (since she has a picky 2 yo appetite!). Just thought I start here to see what y'all knew.

Yes, I would add a little Benecalorie to my kids drinks when they young. But what I always found was the more I added to their drinks the less they would drink. But if she likes it is an easy way to get extra calories.
Sharon, mom of Sophia, 9 and Jack, 7 both with cf, Grant, 2 and Paige, 8 months both without cf

Thanks for posting this. I am also interested in adding calories to our son's diet. I looked it up and was alarmed at the 33 g of fat per serving. I don't think the enzymes would be able to keep up with that. Maybe use just half? I think you should check with your dietitian before purchasing it.
