Any recommendations on where to get the best price/service for purchasing a Mobileaire compressor? Finally biting the bullet after replacement of replacement of replacement is back to 40 minutes for Xopenex/hypersal!
Thanks!

I paid $270 for our Mobilaire..Got it online at a medical online company. Paid it out of our own pocket and worth every penny.

I just googled and found the best price. Mine was a little more expensive than Rebjane's. $274 We still have a pari and devilbiss pulmoaide, but mainly use those for travel.

okay, I'm shocked but when I just called to get a replacement for the "crappy" compressor (so I have a travel one), they checked and based on history (5 compressors in 3.5 years), CF, meds--some require more power, they indicated that we'd need to go to a 50 psi unit and that it should be covered by insurance. So something for others to think of on their end!

I just took DS' pulmoaide in for repairs/replacement. Treatment times were increasing significantly and was getting louder. Devilbiss requires me to take the machine to a local medical accessory provider and ship it to them. So we won't be seeing that machine for at least 3 weeks. Fortunately we learned early on to have a spare available so we didn't have to lease a machine. And at least Pari has quick turnaround. They send a machine overnight. But I'm so glad we bit the bullet and got a heavy duty machine last month.

Wow. Our hospital medequip just delivers a new one same day. The one time we had a problem b/c over the weekend we just got a pari from the pharmacy and out of pocketed that. but glad to have finally decided to pursue this and hoping the insurance covers it!
