bilirubin in ua

has anyone ever had a ua done and it show bilirubin? my son went to docs for painful urine and bad lower back pain last week they said uti and put him on primeida(?) yesterday school nurse calls says there is blood in urine. took him to doc today they say no blood but they detected bilirubin. we go back next week for xray and another ua but they wouldn't tell me what they are looking for.if anyone has any clue please let me know. thanks

Gallstones, which are easily treatable, are a known complication of cystic fibrosis. Unfortunatately, so is cirrhosis of the liver, but it only occurs in 5% of adults with CF, less with children, so it is more likely to be gallstones. I will be praying for you.
