Hi,

I have been using nuvaring for two months now. Its great in that I hardly notice it and haven't really felt any weird side effects...except for one. I am getting crazy bouts of tearfulness. I'm worried my boyfriend may think I'm losing it! Sometimes I'll be just talkig to him and he says one minor (and I'm talking really minor) thing that strikes something in my mind and I'm off. Then if something really does make me sad, whereas before I could swallow it and move on like a normal person, I'll now have to leave the room cos the tears are coming!!

So, anyone else felt like this?

I use Nuvaring also...and I love it. My periods are shorter and lighter and I cant even feel it.

I dont notice any wierd side effects, maybe just wait a few more months? Sometimes they say your body needs to get used to it before the effects wear off.

I agree, your body is probably just adjusting to it. I'm not on nuvaring, but I am on the pill. When I first started it I would cry ALL the time...my bf tried to get me to stop it b/c I was crying so frequently for absolutely no reason at all...craziness. It eventually wore off and I feel normal now <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I would give it another month or so and then talk to your doc if you still don't feel normal. But yes, I felt like a crazy person my first week.
