birthday party opinion

Given her age I wouldnt. If she was older and really, really understood the handwashing, germ thing it would be easier, but not now.

She is too young to hold it against you when she is older. Chances are pretty good she wont remember LOL!

This is my rule of thumb....if it is a really close friend or a family member, then we will go and follow Ethan around the whole time.
Otherwise, we don't go during the cold/flu season.
Even if we have a party to go to at a "safe" place, I usually have a look out for me who is looking for snotty nosed kids. They will call and let me know if it is safe to come or not.
I can't wait for these kids to get older and stop putting their hands and other silly things in their mouth!!!

Even if we have a party to go to at a "safe" place, I usually have a look out for me who is looking for snotty nosed kids. They will call and let me know if it is safe to come or not.
I can't wait for these kids to get older and stop putting their hands and other silly things in their mouth!!!

If my daughter (who is 5.5 cf) has been in good health and the party is important to her then we would definately go. I would stay there, keep an eye on her and disinfect her as soon as we leave though. This may be easier for me to say than some people though bc my daughter has had little/no illness, no hospitalization, etc. I think it just depends on the child and the situation.
