Block in digestive tract?

Kiana (7 months), who is relatively healthy otherwise, has been having trouble pooping about 2 or 3 times a day she is at the point where she is crying in pain for about an hour before she finally passes it, her face is red and she is scrunched up into a ball.

The girls' CF team says that Alysa has a block in her digestive tract and is now on medication for it but you wouldnt even know it cause she is showing NO symptoms. Kiana is hte one with the issue and I have been bugging her team for months to help me fix the problem.

Does this sound like anything anyone else has gone through? What was the result?

Thanks so much for your help!

DS had some trouble for only about a month or two and they put him on Miralax. It seemed to do the trick and now we're at the opposite end with him pooping all the time.

What meds is she on for this?

I dont remember the name that Alysa is on (she is the one that isnt showing any symptoms but the doctor felt something) it is white and looks almost like salt and I mix it in her drink.

Kiana is the one with the issue and she isnt on anything. She is not even 7 months old so I am not sure what she can go on, she is only on her enzymes (1 pill before meals) and her Adeks. I honestly feel like her team isnt taking us seriously. They thought it was her formula at first so they switched her to lactose intolerant one but that isnt making a difference....

It is breaking our hearts and I am fed up and frustrated. We took her to the hospital on the weekend and they did an xray and THOUGHT they saw something but left it at that and sent us home saying "keep doing what your doing, we will write a note to your CF team and hopefully they can help you" umm gee thanks!
