blood in runny nose

You know how your skin can dry out in winter from the cold and then the dry air indoors? Same for the nose. I would say a humidifier is a good idea, just staralize it EVERY day. I use a saline nose spray but the odds of a 14 month old doing it are pretty impossible.

I notice it more when DS is on Tobi. Think it irritates his nasal passages. A few weeks ago I posted that he blew out a couple of hard little bloody kernels (sorry tmi). Don't notice it so much this week when he's off tobi. Doesn't sound as stuffy at night.

Oh, and we use simply saline. It's an aerosol spray. Not as much chance for back wash (bleah) and it goes in more easily. More of a mist instead of a stream.
