I get body aches very suddenly sometimes and sometimes gradually...and my first inclination is that they're just from my body fighting something off... but i've gotten them so much recently (granted i've been sick a lot recently) i wonder if there could be any other reason.

anyone have any ideas? if not, a remedy? thanks.

I have CF-related arthritis and tend to have big flare ups when I've got lung inflammation, or when the weather is changing. Do you do any load-bearing exercise? That can help with the aches. Below is a link to an article I wrote about CFRA.

Dan has joint pain, but it was diagnosed as hypertrophic pulmonary osteoarthropathy (HPOA). His RA doc put him on NSAID (Aleve) and it has really helped him.

I get a lot of body aches, as well as severe arthritis. The past couple weeks, my whole lower legs have been swelling up every day, as do my hands. Cool damp weather makes it bad too. I have tried prescription strength aleve, and even that doesn't help. Cant take cox2 inhibitors because I am allergic to sulfa.
