<br />I used to get terrible bowl obstructions before I was dx with CF and went to the emercency room each time b/c i could not walk the pain was so bad. They did everything from laxatives, enemas, etc. NOT FUN at all and nothing seemed to work.

<br />After being dx with CF I've only had the problem a couple times b/c I've been on miralax every day...I'm been given the OK to take 2-3 doses/day if I notice a problem. When I did get a blockage, I was given GoLightly...terrible stuff, make me want to puke, but it worked.

<br />After taking golightly I was on the toilet for over an hour and couldn't get up. This makes no sense, but I had diahreah, but still felt constipated...felt better after a few days though
