I usually run on the lower side also. The only times it goes up when i am very upset or they take my blood pressure on the leg or forearm OR if i stand up . I had no idea all these things could affect the blood pressure.

Brad, I know you said adult c/f'ers...but I had the same question about it too..my daughter has been having problems with it too...we are not currently checking at home but in the hospital last week it was in the 144/98 range most of the time...it did get up to 151/101 a few times...but noone did anything...it was even high while sleeping.

Mine used to run on the low side also.

But here lately is seems to be a bit high for me. ( I think my self )

I know sometimes with an infection and Antibiotics it can run
high Deb, at the moment I am not on any antibiotics , But am now
on Allergy Meds.

Mine is always low(for atleast the last few years anyways) - whether I am sick or not. In fact every morning here in the 'lock up' the nurses come in and over react b/c when they took it, it was 80/45 or something crazy. Of course its always low and they would know if they looked at the charts. I have been looking for ways though to get it back into the normal range b/c I am having spells of lightheadedness and dizzyness.
