Bragging Time

So I was sitting with some friends the other day, and being an 18 year old high school boy I had to brag on myself to support and boost my already big ego. (Go big or go home right?) However the things I was bragging on they really didn't find to be all that special. I'm gonna brag on myself here because maybe you will find this significant and maybe it will inspire you or motivate you with your CF. Remember, anything is possible if you believe it can be done. So here goes...

Starting the fall semester of 2008 I will be the first student with CF to attend St Louis University/Parks College of Aviation to study Flight Science. Yes, I will be the first professional pilot with CF!!! This is huge and I am very excited! Now I only need some scholarships to help pay the $52,000 a year tuition....(i accept personal checks as well as cash hahahaha)

The Fall semester of 2007 (this past semester) was the first semester in 5 years that I was not admitted in the hospital! HUGE!!! I realized that doing treatments actually works.... Oh and I started drinking alot of herbal and white teas which are rich in antioxidants i think they boosted my immune system keeping me healthier...try it. go to your local teavana and buy all the tea there, I swear by it. Oh and the gym, join a gym if you haven't...working out works wonders, for your body and health.

My PFTs have not dropped below 95%!!! This is very exciting.

Okay, I'm done, not it is your turn. I want to hear all of your awesome accomplishments. I hope they put mine to shame because my ego is big enough already. Or if you want someone to talk to for motivation ask questions anything just message me. I know what you are going through and can possibly help ya.

Peace

Those things are all absolutely fantastic! You must be very good at time management to handle school and all that goes with CF. Thanks very much for sharing.
