Yea sometimes I get a painful yeast infection in the prime real estate I own down south , when I'm on many antibiotics combined with fluctuating blood sugars. Like Susan said, taking Probiotics does help. It's funny, the first time I got it I thought it was herpes, so I went to my family doctor, and she sent me to a specialized doctor.

drink loooots of water and cranberry juice... on top of the probiotics. i usually use neosporin at night (i know it sounds counterintuitive) but i get sores all over my mouth too from being so dehydrated from the meds, which is why i break out. using the neosporin helps moisturize, plus fight off the bacteria that is causing the breakout... the extra cleaning and make up might actually slow down the recoup process... i usually just tell everyone i'm coughing up so much mucus that they dont want to see me cos its the sexiest thing ever and it gets me some extra needed alone time.

Weird, I get the opposite effect. When I get sick with an infection, I break out - then when I start on an antibiotic, it clears it up pretty fast (also my lungs getting better seems to clear it up too).

Prednisone on the other hand... taking a lot of that makes me break out like mad.

i'm the same. i was breaking out pretty badly for a while then i got some antibiotics (cipro and septra) and i completely cleared up... i mean not one zit. i stopped the antibiotics and it seemed to stay fine, until i started zithromax. now i seem to be breaking out more again. face cleaning products don't seem to work, as they are to harsh on my skin and just dry me out.

on another note a few months ago out of nowhere i started getting acne on my back, and it was around if not the same time i started fosomax (and that was the only change). any correlation?
