Breastfeeding and Enzymes

Are there any mother's out there that are able to breastfed their child that has CF? If so have you noticed that if the enzymes are not swallowed that they are irritating your nipples? Sorry it TMI. If so what are you doing to prevent much of the irritation?

I know exactly what you are talking about. I would suggest just giving an extra spoonful of applesauce to get the beads down.

I have tried that and it still is happening. She has her 4 month coming up on Monday with her ped. & a CF on the same day. So I see if I can get the ok to add other baby food to her diet & try using like bananas.

Thank you for the reply but it still happens. Ella is going for her 4 month on Monday and CF so I'll see if I can get the ok to start introducting other foods and try using bananas or something.
