I also wondered about her mother but then I read that there is really nothing that the mom can do. The girl is an adult and can't be forced to stay in rehab and she has more money than her parents so they can't take that away. It really is a horrible situation. The situation makes it almost impossible to get better. The media is going to such extremes to get a picture of her that they won't leave her alone to get better. Sad story

Talking of bad mothers, there was a mother in the UK who this week got so drunk that while she was staggering home pushing her baby daughter, I think, (cant remember how old), the pram flipped over and she left it out in the street with the baby stapped in upside down. She went home and collapsed in a druken stupor. The child was found the next day at 9 in the morning, she is fine, but she is now in care...thankfully.

If we did not stray away from our parents, and followed God's commandments such as "though shall respect thy mother and father" and really always gave our parents its place first, listened to them, and had a one on one relations with our parents none of this would be happening to Brittney. That is if the mother is sane too or not.

I know my views are very different from probably most posts. Much has to do with the fact that I was raised very differently and with God in mind and parents were our support always (whether living with them or not). in my upbrining parents were taught also to be good parents and to have morals and ethics about their lives). If a person does nt know what is moral or amoral, what is ethical or unethical and what is dangerous for her life or not, that person will make a lot more mistakes if not guided. if left alone with no moral's education. That person will have no set of boundaries for which to follow from a set of guidelines (and all these is already planned and prepared for all humans). After exercising no limits, no boundaries and wanting to explore all much can come undone. And once a person comes undone, yes a mother should help and get her heart in there to help her chld out of her predicament.

I agree figures on the public eye do have it very hard. But that is also an excuse for there have been extremely good actors/actresses and even singers who are always in the public eye, chased by Paparazzi and never do the thigns that Brittney has done which are obvious signs of "anything goes for me iwth men or women " (unfurtunately and cold hard fact Brittney has shown that side). I never saw Audrey Hepburn kissing a woman onstage, or showing nude pictures. So no, not everybody who is in stardom is in to become a tramp! Brittney vowed that she would not become a loose tramp, back in 1999 . What happened since then?
for you to think of.
MONEY MONEY MONEY makes them hungry for more and more and then it reaches a point where money is not good enough so they go into more drastic behaviors to fill the void and empty hole in their stardom life. how sad. trully. Im glad Im not a star in Hollywood or elsewehre.

Lesson learned? money and fame and no ethics dont mix well in the end.
But yes I also wish that Brittney can get the help she needs and realize that what she has done is wrong and somehow make it right. Perhaps staying with her family now and using that money to survive.

I agree with you Clinging to Faith. I care more about her fans who idolize her. she will eventually get her act straight but it is those innocent people who fall into believing if she can do it, I can do it.

Bad company corrupts good morals.

If you want to get better (and away from drugs) you have to stop associating with those that continue to do them.

Yep, Britney is lost. She probably thought babies would fix the wholes in her heart - they just compounded the problems. I do pray she finds the inner strength to climb out of this crap, this way of life.

Speaking of celebrities - Anna Nicole - in watching the trial, seems like the only reason she left Larry is because he wanted her to stop using drugs. So, instead she found a guy that would support her habit, and didn't care one bit, and even video taped her in a mushroom induced stupor - what an ass!!! Howard isn't the father. Howard used her for his gain.
Anyone using that many drugs, that often will die of heart failure - Howard didn't care - he only wanted her money/inheiritance. He's a slimball.

So speaking of prayers for those going through tough times, I include that little baby girl! I hope she ends up in the right hands, and with the right guidance.

I like Lindsay, though it'd be sad if she followed the path of Brittney, despite already getting bad publicity for her driving skills...

There's a few singers in Japan who went down a somewhat similar (yet not as dramatical) street. They had married young, both of which married a guy twice their age, and their popularity seemed to drop. I guess the moral to this one is that the fans in Japan are more critical about thier 'Idols'.

We had gotten the news over here about Brittney. In Japan, her hair style is actually not uncommon for females, but it's only unless they are going to become buddhist priests! I didn't have any English translation to follow along what I didn't catch in the news, but they did indicate that she was going to rehab, and it was the same place where other famous stars went to be 'detoxed'. They probably mentioned her marriage life problems, perhaps even the bout with the 'Paparazi', but said nothing about the company she keeps.

For the sake of the fans, I actually hope Brittney dissapears for a while, and either comes back with a new 'everything' for her fans, or she finds contentment in a new and quieter life away from the media and glamour.

I also think it's odd that for how much she pays for her 'rehab' bills, that she's not rehabilitated, seems to be a total waste of time and her money. The news indicated she pays quite a pretty penny for staying at that place!

personally, i don't care if she shaves her head. The way she saved her head off was alarming. She shaved her head off because she thought kevin federline was going asl the judge to test her hair. One way to test drugs is through hair. She refused to listen to the stylist when they advised her not to shave off her head. A couple of days later, she got a bad wig. So that makes you wonder if she regretted cutting her hair.
