Bruises

I was wondering what is the best way to cover bruises on my legs? I am in a friend's wedding on 8/9 and the dress is tea-length, sleeveless and low-cut. Due to my recent heprin use with IVs & basic issue with CF, I have a lot of bruising, mostly on my right leg. We are wearing sandals with the dress and I am pasty-white, so I dont think stockings or pantyhose will do the trick. I was wondering if there was a good makeup out there? I dont have a speciality store like Sephora around, so I will need to get whatever from Walmart, Belks or stores like that. If you know any creams or home fixes to make them disappear faster, please feel free to suggest those too. I dont want to walk in her wedding (or in the pictures) looking like I've been beaten up. Thanks in advance!

Danyell,

The only thing I really thought of was the tattoo cover up stuff and you should be able to find that at a bridal shop. Most of the ones I have been to have that stuff.

I don't know if it would work for bruises but I know they reccomended it to me if I chose to cover up my scars from my transplant when we decide to get married.

Best of Luck,
Linds

I use the Sally Hansen Airbrushed Legs. It's a small spray can available in different skin tones. I usually put that on first then use a little bit of my makeup powder to even out the tone.

I bruise really easily and just before my hols had a massive bruise on my leg. I used arnica gel and within three days it had practically gone. i swear by the stuff. Put plenty on rub in well and apply every two hours. The more you use it the quicker your bruise will fade. Good luck <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
