Bubbles the fish max instructions

A few years ago, I called the Pari to ask about the mask and whether or to keep the top of the nebulizer piece on. They said as others have mentioned that if the mask has holes on it, then you should remove the top piece. I still can't bring myself to remove it. If I do my kids like to blow out all of the medicine out the top.

We use the Bubbles mask and removed the blue part after I was re-reading the instructions (some months after we had started treatments). I could not tell a noticable difference that med was streaming out of the top or anything. It certainly didn't shorten treatment time! We use the Pari LC Plus and Bubbles for all of Katy's inhaled meds.

Can you boil the Bubbles mask? When I used the bubbles mask and boiled it, the colors would rub off, which disturbed me. So I use the baby mask attachment which is much more expensive than the Bubbles mask. What is your experience? Thanks.

According to pari it can be boiled, but the colors will probably fade. I boiled the old one we had, but I also had removed the elastic string because he never wore it that way. We'd just hold it to his face. Now that he's been playing video games, I've used the elastic straps again, so he can play hands free and we don't have to sit next to him and hold it.
