Caffeine raises blood sugar

Ya exactly S&S...as there are no sugars in caffeine, it just alters how glucose is absorbed into our cells...slowing it down perhaps and making blood sugar levels higher longer.

If your blood sugars are ok shamrock, i wouldn't worry about it. But for people like me who are borderline and don't take insulin (yet), then it can maybe help control it a little more.

I'll post more next week when i get my monitor <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
