Sean Fred, um.... Im going to have to pass on that one <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">. Fred, it was our first try and we got very lucky, VERY lucky because we had no embryos left to freeze.
There is a price to pay though, but it's worth it. I spend last night in the ER because of this OHSS, I couldn't breath very well (standing, sitting, laying, 1/2 way elevated....) and was having terrible pains in my upper stomach. The only thing that's better about the ER than going straight to my doctor (I hope this doesn't sound bad) is that my insurance will pay for the ER visit but not the visits to the doctor. I am "undiagnosed" but it is not by pancreas, gallbladder or anything else that they could find. No infection either so that's good. I declined to be drained again today, at $500 a pop, plus an office visit fee and paying cash as ins. won't cover any of it-I had to say no. I'll just stay off my feet for the rest of the weekend and Monday and that should help.
My beta doubled today, which I understand to be a good thing. On Wednesday it was 146 and this morning at 5am it was 318. The doctors say that is a VERY good sign.
Thanks to all for the support. I'll keep you ALL posted and if anyone has any questions about the procedure or anything, I am more than happy to answer them. I hope that this inspires others to try if this is something they have been considering.
You are all wonderful friends and I am so grateful for all of your support!
