It amazes me that people with mild CF have very long lists of meds, whereas I also have mild CF and have a short list of medications. Just goes to show how very different CF is for a lot of people. *I also forgot to mention that I take Zithromax when I am sick too, as well as Amoxocylin.

I suppose it depends upon how proactive your clinic is. One of my docs is really really into prevenative stuff -- even though I don't cough or have lung problems yet he's had me do CPT 3 times a day with albuterol and atrovent.
He's got me on prophalactic antibiotics -- keflex and azythromycin.
Bile Salts (actigall) to keep my liver and gall bladder healthy
Adeks twice a day, a vitamin A & E once a day
Pulmozyme 'cuz all his patients are on it
Pancrease MTs
Tobi 'cuz I cultured pseudo about a year ago.

If I develop a cough I'm supposed to get a septra or cipro script filled. Around people with the flu and start to feel like I'm getting a cold I'm supposed to fill a tamiflu script.
