I just got put on levaquin and doxycycline today .I am on oil of oregano and pharmanac. I have had a cold and those 2 got me thru till now without a hospital stay. But can I take those with the antibiotics . And if I get more anxiety from the levaquin will anything help with it like xanax. I am already on paxil and trazadone. Any help will be appreciated the pharmacists don't know anything about pharmanac or oil of oregano.

Sorry, I can't answer your question on the interaction of oil of oregano and pharmanac with levoquin and doxycycline. However, I did want to let you know that you should avoid any caffeine while taking levaquin. Levaquin will alter the metabolism of caffeine and allow it to build up in your system, contributing to anxiety symptoms. You should also stay away from NSAIDs (Ibuprofen) as they will increase the likelihood of central nervous system side effects of Levaquin (anxiety,insomnia,confusion,tremors). The pharmacists did tell me to avoid caffeine which I was already due to my anxiety issues. I didnt know about the ibuprofen though , but luckily I'm taking it either because my inflammation is better from the pharmanac and oil of oregano. And I will look on drugs.com. I am having some insomnia from the levaquin. Thanks for the info.
Under "compatibility" in the fine print of your pharmanac package insert, you'll see it says to take certain classes of antibiotics and pharmanac at least two hrs apart due to possible inactivation of the antibiotic. Doxy is listed as having no incompatibility, though. But quinolones aren't listed either way. I'd say take ANY abs separately to be safe.

Yes, exactly ! If I take that stuff,- try lay down with some very relaxing music, something like classical, or meditation music to try and be calm, the sleep lost is what got me, I can only sleep a max of 3 hrs on the stuff, try go for a nap during the day, or when you feel tried, and just try to ride it out. (PRAYING) Also, they say taking it in the early in the morning helps for at night.
