I can't seem to get rid of the horrible smell/taste lately. Even when I can't taste food, I can still taste/smell the mucus from my lungs. This is one of the big reasons why I hate kissing my fiance...I know he can smell it also but is just too nice to say anything. My mom and I were talking one day and she randomly said that it smelled like there was diarrhea nearby and I'm pretty sure that it was my breath. Yikes.

Sometimes, the smelly bacteria can actually be gram positive bugs. Whereas, the usual Psudomonas and staph are all gram negative. So, you could try Flagyl (metronidazole). Its worked for me, getting rid of smelly breath. Strictly no alcohol when you're on this one though...
