Make sure you do an ADVANCED search so you can put Nightwriter as the authors name as well & that will narrow things down......

Hi Zara,

How can I resist smiley face? I also had trouble with the advanced search engine - I probably don't know how to use it properly.

I really want you to read my other posts, because I don't think adding supplements is enough. I linked one of my posts for you. Maybe I did this already - I can't remember. I buy everything discounted on line mostly from Vitacost.com (their own NSI brand if available) or the Vitamin Shoppe, Whole Foods, Trader Joes's and Costco. U.K. I don't know...

Anybody reading this, if you are going to try any of these things, please check with your doctor to make sure whether any supplement is appropriate for you. And remember to stop all blood thinning supplements when you have any bleeding.

Herbs and Supplements and other things that I take:

Protein shake (Soy, whey is better for you)
All One vitamin powder - best vitamin source is powder
OTC digestive enzymes (double dose) immune system builder
10-12 multi strain Probiotic pref. Refrigerated - immune system

Zyflamend : natural Cox2 Inhibitor and anti-inflammatory good for tendonitis
Quercetin Complex : natural seasonal allergy anti-histamine can't use with Cipro or similar drugs.
Claritin (yes, even though I don't positive for allergies)
Fish oil 1000mg :anti-inflammatory

Glucosomin Condroitin MSM 1.5/1.2 ratio and 800mg of MSM : joint health
Advance C or Ester C 1000mg immune system, anti inflammatory
Chia seeds ½ scoop that comes with it. Anti-inflammatory (Crushed Hemp seeds better)

Turmeric 900mg - anti-inflammatory- may help CF
Vitamin B complex - I'm a vegetarian so I don't get enough
Vitamin D3 1000mg. - anti-inflammatory

L-Glutamine powder - I take for muscle pain
NAC 600 mg - May help CF

Going to add CoQ10, Selenium, and Magnesium which I used to take

When I Take Them

Morning: Protein shake with soy milk, banana, with All One Vitamin powder, L-Glutamine and Chia Seeds in a blender;
Claritin, one capsule of Quercetin complex, 1 Probiotic, 1 or 2 Vitamin D3, 1 NAC, 1 digestive enzyme

Lunch: digestive enzyme, NAC, Fish oil 1 or 2 --these days 1 because I take other anti inflammatories and I don't want too much blood thinning. Zyflamend softgel (natural Cox 2 inhibiter and anti inflammatory), 2 Glucosomine Condroitin MSM ( 1.5 Gluco/1.2 Condroitin/800 MSM total per day), 3 Vitamin D3, 1 Quercetin complex, 1 Advance C or Ester C , 1 Tumeric , 1 probiotic, 1 Vit B complex

Dinner: 1 digestive enzyme, 1 NAC, 1 fish oil, Zyflamend softgel, 1 Glucosomine Condroitin Msm, 2 Vitamin D3, 1 Quercetin Complex, 1 Vitamin C, Tumeric , 1 Probiotic,

Sinus rinses 2 to 3 times a day with Nasalcrom spray 2 times a day for allergies. (plus other prescription nasal sprays.)

I do hope you get to find posts on the search engine. There is much to investigate in your quest to stabilize and maybe even improve.
