there is a pancreatic enzyme called Viokase that is powder and mixes into any liquid you put into the feeding tube bag.....i mix it with my daughters formula, pour it into the bag and she is set for the nite!!

And the liquid meds are so helpful to put through it. In the hospital when I am not there to make him take them, they do it that way. you can even take regular pills and crush them and dilute with water to put through the tube. If need be.
This was very helpful right before Garran's Tx because they make them drink all this Go-Lightly stuff to make them poo. Well, he just had to have it in his tube abd didnt have to taste that aweful stuff. He was happy!
And after Tx when he was intubated they could give him meds in his G tube with out causing any problems with the vent. etc...It is a multi-useful devise...lol
