can you boil an acapella?

i know not all acapellas are the same, but can you boil yours? Mine has a clear mouth piece and its green..
See, it fell in the toilet this morning! Long story...but should I just throw it away? I mean i really don't want to because I use it every morning and i don't know when I'd get a new one even if I called now. OR is it safe to just boil it in vinegar or dish soap for 10 minutes?

ewwwwww!!!! ummmm i boiled mine and yea ummm....i can't use it anymore. then again i may have been a moron and followed directions wrong and actually boiled it, but i definetly deformed it and i can no longer use it.

Do you know if it's an Acapella Choice (i.e., can you take it apart and clean it)? If it is, you can probably boil the pieces -- I have one and it seems to be sturdier plastic than most neb cups. Just don't boil for over 8 mins. Otherwise, I think you're going to need a new one.

Put it this way: if you boil it and it's ruined, are you any worse off than you are now? Obviously you can't use one you dropped in the toilet! lol.

Like Candice...I boiled mine and ppoooof...it broke. I had the green one like you.

I would advise getting a new one, especially since it fell in the toilet (ewwww, no offense). It may take a while, but it will be more sterile.
