Thanks for the info, great help!! i went to the chemist yest and they did't know what i was on about so i bought a cough bottle called exputex that liquifies mucus so i presume they all do the same thing. im also thinking of getting some further treatment/help in my situation when i next attend my CF clinic! its very frustrating, as if we dont have enough to cope with!!

Okay,

I must have googled this forever...

The only thing I could find was this...

Hi Abbie
I am also on clomid 50mg. I've just started fourth cycle. Gynae prescribed exputex cough bottle - 5ml twice daily on Cd 12 - 18 but i have to take clomid on Cd 2 -6! Hope this is of some help to you and best of luck with it all!

So yes, it must be used to help attain pregnancy and be safe. It seems that you take it similarly to Robitussin and Mucinex here in the states. To be on the safe side, I would strongly suggest calling your doctor or bumping up your appointment prior to taking it just to make sure that using it is fine with regards to CF.

This is something that I am not at all familiar with in the United States. However, the girl above discusses Clomid, which you need a prescription for. So she had to be advised to use this by her doctor.

Hope I helped a little bit!
