Thanks again everyone! Her cough seems to have subsided, so I'm hoping it was just an allergy. I also had another long talk with the hubby, and hopefully I got somewhere this time! Your tips definitely helped. I'm also checking in to the Wall Mounted Hand Sanatizer thing lol. I'm only finding ones with refills that are $99 though....is that right? <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif" border="0"> And I also stumbled upon the sit Drugstore.com. Does anyone use this site?

I've used drugstore.com when they've had deals on free shipping. Also, when ds was a baby, a friend of a friend worked for ecolab and got me a case of foam hand sanitizer like they have at the clinics and hospital. Nowdays I just carry the regular stuff in my car and have some in the kitchen and at my office.

Also, I wipe down shopping carts with antibacterial wipes or I just kept DS in his car seat when he was an infant.

As for the cough, you need to learn the difference between coughs - post nasal drip, bronchial, etc. When DS was about two months old he had a cough and my gut told me it sounded like bronchitis, but the local pediatrician/cf doctor told me at his 2 month appointment that it was "what 'they' (people wcf) do". Turn out he DID have bronchitis and was culturing something he brought home from the NICU.

Lord, I've got so much to learn lol! My instincts are saying that it wasn't anything to worry about since it stopped, so I'm hoping I'm right. I hope my normal mommy instincts will fill in, until the CF mommy one's kick in lol.

On a new note, as I posted earlier in the week, Dr. B upped her Enzymes to 2 at every feeding, because one wasn't working. The two dose worked for about a day, but she spent all of yesterday afternoon, clean up until this afternoon, eating almost constantly. She also had some really big stools. The stools weren't like the one's before we started Enzymes, but they still aren't what I call "normal." Do I need to call the clinic again? Or do the cluster feedings indicate a growth spurt? She's FINALLY sleeping now, and she's been asleep for almost 4 hours. ...any thoughts?

I posted about the wall mount hand sanitizer, a friend gets it for us but I will check with him to find out who the supplier is and let you know the price, also another good resource for us was our dentist, he orders in the huge bottles of antibacterial soap for us with added moisterizers that he uses himself in his offices, far more economical and doesn't leave me with a terrible rash which I found the regular over the counter ones did. Its great, he charges us just the invoice price and we fill up our own dispensers.
