Can you tolerate fat?

I think it was the pepperoni, too. I had a slice and it was dripping with grease. It was spicy as well. Maggie was saying how good it was. She has an interesting palate for a 5 year old. I just think maybe no matter how many enzymes I gave her; it was just too fatty for her little body. Thanks for your replies!

I am a chocoholic ....have been all my life and Thank God never had a problem with it. I am guessing the pepperoni was more the culprit then the chocolate. I havent heard of chocolate being a problem with fatty stools before, so i am interested to see what others have to say as well. I eat Chocolate a lot, probably dont go a day without it, and more than half the time i dont take any enzymes with it (if all i am eating is just the chocolate) and havent had any problems at all. Now if i tried to do that with pepperoni, that would be a different story.

It is hard for CF'rs to digest fat and chocolate and pepperoni has alot of fat. If I eat a really fatty meal I will take one extra enzyme. I also try to stay away from greasy fatty food like pepperoni cause it just gives me a stomach ache. Try some extra enzymes but I think it is the whole fat concept of being hard for us to digest.

This is very interesting. I find that doctors and dietitians think that once you take the correct amount of enzymes everything is ok and you should be able to eat anything. I have found though that no matter how many enzymes I take i cannot tolerate cream, peanuts, donuts and a couple of other things. I feel really sick soon after eating them and all the next day I feel too sick to do anything. And major toilet trouble!
