I think Tom was kidding. He posted a smiley face next to what he wrote. It was meant to be humorous.

I have been reading his posts for a few months now, and have never seen him "personally attack" anyone.

I understand your idea of using "shock" speech to get your point across. I understand taking the candy coating off, trust me, I'm pro-life. I think most of us, if not all could sense your sarcasm, and knew you meant no malice.
