Can't Believe This!

Thanks everyone! She goes for the sweat test on Tuesday the 13th. The good thing is that she'll see a Doctor down there and I'll have the results that day! How long does it take to get the full panel genetic test back? I've heard possibly 6 weeks, which seems like a long time to have to wait. I admit that finding out whatever it is will be a relief. It's hard to know what to do next when you don't know what you're up against. Thanks for the support, I'll keep you informed.

Ditto to all the other posts... I'm pretty sure I replied to you before but just in case not.... my kids test out at 38 & 41 -- they both have two CF genes -- see my blog for the whole story (link is in the signature line)

I don't know about 6 weeks for genetic testing... I thought it was something like 2-3 weeks -- seems like we only had to wait 2 weeks.

You can post a question to the Ambry guy on this site -- he should be able to tell you.

Best of luck!
