Nightwriter--I think the guy is going original and I believe the technical name is Harbor Blue. He said he had a '57 that exact color back in HS.
As for your Vette, I'll bet Steele Blue looks good. I always wonder if red oxidizes too badly anyway? *shrugs*


Brad--I'm liking the '57 you described and would also love to have the GTO you mentioned too!! Got any pics of those old cars to share?? You know, with you in them, sporting a mullet or something??<img src=""> lol

The very first car I ever owned was a 66 Impala. I looooved that car. Not sure of the size of engine, but it had a lot of power. When you would be sitting at a stoplight and the light turned green you would put your foot on the gas pedal and the "g-force" would throw you back against the seat.I bought the car from one of my brother's buddies who used to race it at the local dragway, so I'm sure it had it's fair share of modifications. Probably a little too much car for a 16 year old who had just learned to drive. Sadly, my current ride is a mini-van<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif" border="0">.

We didn't call it a mullet back then...
Mine was the same lenth all over,, not the long in the back short
on top like some guys wear it now, haha...

I wish I did have pictures ,but my Ex took a lot of my stuff with her when
we dot divorced, she took a big box( my idea of a Photo Album ) lol
as well as a few albums we had together.
heck, she even took My Cloths iron, I don't know why!!! She didn't know
how to Iron ,,lol true story.
Worst part is in that box of pic were pictures of my Father and two Brothers who have now
passed.. can you say Bit*h ....
