Carb counting. Yes I am learning with my team, I just want to hear how others are doing it, how they got used to it, whether you're as bad at math as I am. Any tips you have, or anything about it. And... go!

I'm not the best when it comes to math either. You're not alone. I try to eat the full serving or eat at least half of a serving so, that way I know exactly how many carbs I'm eating. Instead of guessing. I gain better control of my sugars that way. It's not good to guess with carbs anyway. Anything less than half of a serving is a little more difficult to calculate for me. I have a calculator on my cellphone so that helps me a lot of times with my multiplication I do not drink sugary drinks to cut back on the carbs I have to count. More carbs=more insulin. I know, you're not really supposed to drink a lot of sugary soda/juices etc. with diabetes but I still treat myself to a lemonade or soda every now and then. I hope I could help you at least a little bit...

i am trying to eat a healthier lifestyle. for example, if you go to a fast food place, choose a grilled chicken instead of fried chicken. when i go to resturants, i sub veggies for fries. that kind of thing.
when i eat healthier, it cuts down on the math.
