i just wanted to let everyone in the cystic fibrosis forums who have read my posts that casey passed away peacefully yesterday. i was by his side until the very end - it was time for him to leave his suffering behind. many thanks to all of you who have had him in your thoughts. he was so loving, and so easy to love. there will be a service later this week, probably friday, in stevens point, wisconsin. i will check back to the forums on occasion. i will continuously pray for everyone whose lives are affected by cf.

oh Katie, my thoughts are with you at this time, it's so tough to lose someone to CF. I am thankful he had the gift of having you with him to the end.

Casey was blessed to have had the chance to breathe freely and also to have you spend time with.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time! I know how you feel! (I lost my son 6 mos. ago) Do try to appreciate what you had together! He was lucky to have someone who loved him so much! Take care.
