as far as drying the neb-i've been following the video instructions that said that after sterilizing, to lay it out on a clean paper towel to air dry, and then seal it.
i'm finding that by the time its time to do my next treatment, the neb is almost dry... but not fully.
so, except for my pm, its never fully dry enough to seal it up after use.
(fyi, i fully sterilize mine after each use)
not to sound nuts here (but i think this neb is making us all sound crazy!)-but am i doing something wrong?? why can't i use the neb if its not fully dried?

I never have dry nebs. I sterilize after each use. Even though I have 3 different sets of nebs, they still don't get completely dry. I'd have to have about 10 different nebs to have a fully dry one all the time. ?
How do you get it dry besides having 10 sets of nebs out at a time and rotate them?

The Germ Guardian dries everything in 30 minutes or less. It also sanitizes (not to be confused with sterilizes). It's yet another piece of equipment on the kitchen counter... but it does come in handy.

I have had fabulous results with Cayston! I begin the 4th week tomorrow and dread having to go off of it. All my crackles and wheezes went away in the first 48 hours. But the biggest bonus is the extra energy I've had. I'm trying to run around and get a lot done before I rotate off, in case I turn back into the pumpkin at midnight.

you could do germ guardian which then you have that AND the sterilizer out--what a pita. Or I have been dipping them in a bowl of alcohol and then I have a ceiling fan in teh kitchen so it dries out in plenty of time.

What I've been told is that you need to rinse the nebs after every use, but Sterilize every day, although I also have three neb cups and just sterilize them all together at the end of the day so I have three clean nebs for the following day. If you don't have three neb cups, I would ask your pharmacy for another one with your next shipment because it really cuts down on the amount of cleaning time!

Hi.

I am not on antibiotics, or at least that was the case until I got my Cayston today

I picked up e-Coli somewhere along the way (and several other bugs as well. Strange little buggers too.). The e-coli started showing up about 2 years ago. We did nothing to address it, nor did my docs treat the other stuff, as they felt like it was too risky.

Oddly enough, my Pseudomonous, which I had dealt with since I was 6 (now 47), disappeared two months ago on its own. Yet, the other strange bugs, including the e-coli, persisted.

Well, last week I did some more cultures and all these odd bugs, including the e-coli were gone, and the pseudomonus was back. Very strange.

All I can tell you is that I an doing some supplements that are loaded with Green tea, Curcumin and Grape Seed Extract. In addition to that, praying a lot.

So, I am headed into my first month on Cayston with just the Pseudo, or at least that is how it looks on paper.
