Thanks for the article. I, too, had no idea there was such a wide variety in the strains of cepacia. I didn't know you had it either!

Erinzbiz, I think you also touched on a nerve for some people, because of the lack of knowledge surrounding cepacia. Since cepacia patients are generally not allowed to go to most CF events, I think there is almost a stigma attached to having it; sure, other bugs can be bad, but cepacia is seen almost like a death sentence. People avoid it like the plague so to speak. Some strains ARE that bad, but like a lot of you guys on the forum have shown, there are other strains that people live with relatively fine. (Well, as fine as we can live with lung infections, anyway <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0">)

Here's to hoping they come up with some antibiotics that can treat the more harmful strains. <img src="i/expressions/heart.gif" border="0">
