My daughter participated in a Johns Hopkins exercise study not to long ago, they highly recommend exercise daily as part of the physical therapy for their lungs.

My daughter plays softball and at 12 has a gym membership. Some gyms allow kids! We go two to three times a week.

I also talked to a physical therapist at Hopkins and she told me some of the healthier adult patients are big time runners and do marathons.

Great info/study! very, very, very true about exercise being beneficial!!

I've been in competitive sports and exercised for pretty much all my life. Even when I'm not feeling well, I will usually find a way to at least do SOMETHING, even if it's not as intense as my usual routine.

Also, 100% agree about staying hydrated. I'll wear fuel belts on my runs & bring shot block so I can stay hydrated and keep my electrolytes in check.

I have asked 3 doctors over the last few months to provide me with some data or MORE exercise information to motivate me. It is not "detailed" enough for me to stay motivated. Their answer is always....well, exercise is good for you. I get that; but, give me more. Now I can understand a study like the one you provided. THANK YOU for giving me what I have been looking for.

What is the shot block? where do you get them?
