CF Center in Atlanta and Augusta GA

I needed to know any and all information on the CF Center in Atlanta which is the Emory University in Atlanta and the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Does anyone have experience with either of these two centers. Looking to relocate and Georgia might be one place of options.

We take our son to the CF center in Atlanta.

Up until a couple of months ago all cystic were seen at the free-standing CF center located adjacent to Emory.

I believe they have now moved the adult patients into Emory itself, and left the kids at the CF center.

Overall we have been quite impressed with the care our son gets. He has a very complex presentation and the dr's have been good to work with.

I've not heard anything that would lead me to think the adult teams is any different.

Edited to add: Medical College of GA is one of the oldest medical schools in the country. It is fairly small but I know several doctors personally that went there. Can't tell you about cf center, but it is probably quite small.

Both of my son's used the CF Clinic at MCG in Augusta. The younger one made it to Adulthood and used the adult clinic here. He was very pleased with his care and the physicians and staff he had. We did have opportunity to visit the one at Emory. We were just more pleased with the overall atmosphere here in Augusta.
