Piper, Dr. Caplan is in the process of retiring.

He still sees existing patients, but has stepped down as Director of the CF center and is not taking any new patients at this point.

We had heard a lot about him but missed him by a couple of months, so our son is followed by his replacement as director, Dr. Schechter.
