CF-CF love

Hey just wondering...anyone with CF dating someone else with it?
I've only met 2 people with CF and that was at college; I'm wondering if it would be nicer to date someone with CF because they can understand exactly what you're going through, or worse cause no one would get any sleep with all the coughing <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">
I've had my share of trouble dating cause girls either freak out about my life expectancy, think it's too high maintenance, or even just get depressed watching me do treatments.
Thoughts? Experiences?

When my fiancee was a child cfers were allowed to be around each other/share rooms during hospital stays. Im a RN whose cared for numerous cfers & my fiancee will agree they try to advise you to stay at least 3 feet from each other in fear of cross contaminating each other with mrsa, pseudo, cepcacia & things of the sort. He stays in contact with some of his old cf friends but they havent seen each other in years... As for the girls freaking out about your cf or treatments theyre clearly not the right ones for you. I love my fiancee more then life itself & couldnt imagine leaving him bc of cf. I never judged him for being sick or too tired to move somedays because i know that cf does not define who he is. Its just a part of our lives. Hang in there....theres alot of cf wive out there.
