CF Clinic improvments

I'm jealous!

We do have an endo who is very familiar/understanding of CFRD being treated differently than the average diabetic. She is not a member of the team, but is in the same network!

I think they all should be, maybe they are working on it.

haven't had to deal with cfrd yet, so i'm not sure if we have our own endo.

but ever since i've been at the adult clinic all of their stuff is electronic, my picture pops up when they type in my name. its so cool. but i wish i could go in their system and check off all the questions they ask when my nurse talks to me.

the rx is all electronic, its cool.

ours is 100% electronic, started last year, all rx are sent electronically, dr orders, lab requests, test results etc all electronic.

My other favorite: we now have a system where when you check in at the front desk you only have to sign once per year now instead every time and you just take your paper and go back to a room with all the flags out, no more germy pens shoved towards you for a signature or icky waiting rooms.
