Hi Nicole,
I was also interested in working in health. I am an Occupational Therapist, I have been working in a rural hospital with people who have had stroke and brain injury, as well as with children with developmental problems and Autism. I love my job, but working in a hospital can sometimes feel a bit risky.
I see outpatients only and I never work on wards (some other OTs in my department do) and as it is a very small hospital there are not usually people there who would pose an infection risk. Still, I am taking another job in an Autistic school because I want to get out of the hospital alltogether.
I think people with CF can work in health if you really want to, you just have to be selective with where you work and what you do.
Good luck with your decision - I agree that you probably already know the answer <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
