CF in Europe

I'm 17 with CF, living in the US (Washington state) right now. Recently I've been considering moving to Finland within the next year or two, but I can't find much information about how well CF is treated anywhere outside the states. I know Finland has one of the lowest CF rates, and they don't have any CF clinics or specialists around there.

Does anyone have any experience with that area? How would healthcare and disability and such compare to the US? Any websites or forums would be helpful too.

I'm sure you could email or call the CFF and they could point you in the right direction for finding someone in that area or in surrounding countries that have a cf center. i'm currently living in italy and i talked to my doc and my cf nurse and they set me up with a CF doc here so if you talk to your clinic they might be able to help you out too. good luck!

I know Sweden has excellent CF care. Don't know about Finland. I could ask my friend who lives in Sweden (Marie, she is a member here too). Very maybe, she would know something about it.
