CF & pregnancy

I'm a 23 yr old female w/CF. I have a silly question.....If my partner is not a carrier, could my baby still have CF? Just wondering...I'm not pregnant.

Hi JLynn, if your partner is not a CF carrier, your children would not have CF but be a carrier thru you.

BOTH partners must be carriers for a child to have CF. Because you have CF, if you should have a child...he/she WILL be a carrier.Dea
