cf scholarships

hey there...has anyone applied for cf scholarships and not gotten them? I've tried for about three (including the creon) and got rejected letters...is this a result of just what looks like enough money on tax returns, or are there really sooooo many ppl applying for these that the amount of winners is limited. I've read so many entries on here about the ppl that get the scholarships and am wondering what I'm doing wrong.

Ha ha, I got denied for every scholarship I applied for. =-) I think for me the reason is 'cause I didn't participate in any extracurricular activities in high school, or have any leadership qualities, or anything else that scholarship people look for. =-)
