Have you thought about trying Costco's pharmacy? An albuterol inhaler there is around 7 dollars I want to say....I know it was ridiculously cheaper than other places.

We pretty much just use the CF pharmacy because of the tobi foundation and ADEKs when our pharmacy can't get it for us. Pricewise it's about the same, but our local pharmacy is much easier to deal with. Not so much lately, but I've had problems in the past with customer service reps lying and saying they've shipped something, only to find out it's not the case because the doctor needs to call in a refill, my insurance doesn't cover vitamins so they didn't think I still wanted them, my credit card expired and they didn't have the new card info..... They'd never return phone calls or email messages. And their billing was kinda screwy -- sometimes they'd charge to my credit card and I've have a credit on my account, then I'd have a huge balance the next month ---I'd write a check for the full amount, next month I'd still have an overdue balance.... Frustrating at times. Now that they've got practically everything available online and I don't have to deal with a human, it's much easier. Liza

The customer service people I've dealt with are from Maryland, although shipments come from Denver. I've heard wonderful things about the branch of the CF pharmacy in Texas. The florida pharmacy is private and not affiliated with CFF, correct? Liza

the cf pharmacy here in texas is good. i think its basically like any pharmacy chain the people can make it good or bad. as far as the prices $60 for albuterol? is it the pre mixed vials or the droppers? in either case a month supply for me is around $30 from the cf pharmacy and the albuterol emergency inhaler is about oh i forget 10 or $15. still not as cheap as costcos sounds like. but still 64 sounds crazy. unless you get a huge amount at one time. that can greatly increase the price of it. if you get the premixed vials how many boxes do you recieve at once?

oh sorry i just reread your original post. i thought you were getting meds from there already. it depends on the amount of albuterol they are pricing it as. i have a script for a treatment every 4 hours when needed. so thats 6 vials for every 24 hours. 180 or more for the month at about $30. so i dont know how they figure $64 on the pricing list. unless prices just went up on it, i dont think it has.

Looking at Costco Pharmacy for albuterol...

1 inhaler is 8.59.

25 vials are 9.99

*shrugs* Seems a good deal cheaper to me.
