Many of you might remember that we plan on recording a song using the sounds of CF. We hope to start production now that the holidays are over, however I still need sound samples (coughing, nebs, inhalers, vest, pills and any other sounds you can think of) from the community so we can use them as a basis for our percussion. The more the better. To share these sounds with those of us who will be writing the song, I suggest Dropbox (www.dropbox.com). Once you create an account, upload your sounds and then post the link to your public folder where we can download them. If you have any questions send me a PM or reply to this thread. Couple samples..
Portaneb1 , Upclose and windy.
Portaneb2 , another one, little more stable and longer.
Portaneb3 , just moving microphone through airstream to give a sort of breathing effect that sounded better than actual breathing to me. Probably not useful.
Portaneb4 , pulling airhose off cup, a sound many are familiar with but also probably not very useful.
Mistabron2 , tapping 3 times and breaking glass capsule.
Pillshake1 to Pillshake3, yeah.
Pilllid1 , Popping lid.
Pillstrip1 , Ursochol actually.
O21 , Turning on oxygen concentrator.
O22 , Stable running of oxygen concentrator.
Kinda corrected volume on most but most are so soft and/or hard to record I couldn't turn them up higher without dying in the noise and because the actual sounds are so soft my noisefilters take away a lot of useful noise as well. Maybe your noisefilters are better.
